Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Amharworks ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with all mobile games and applications published under the Amharworks developer name (collectively, the "Apps"), as well as our website at amharworks.com.
By downloading, installing, or using our Apps, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Apps.
1. Information We Collect
Amharworks does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address directly through our Apps.
Certain technical and usage data may be collected automatically by third-party software development kits (SDKs) integrated into our Apps. This may include:
- Device type, operating system version, and language settings
- Anonymous or pseudonymous advertising identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID)
- App version, session information, and general usage analytics
- Crash logs and diagnostic data
- Approximate geographic region (country or region level)
This information is collected by third-party providers and is used to operate, improve, and monetize our Apps. We do not link this data to your real-world identity.
2. Third-Party Services We Use
Our Apps use third-party services that may collect and process data as described in their own privacy policies. These services include:
- Google Play Services — Used for core platform functionality. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google AdMob — Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and related data to serve and measure ads. Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
- Google Analytics for Firebase & Crashlytics — Used for anonymous analytics, app performance monitoring, and crash reporting. Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party providers to understand how they handle your data. Amharworks does not sell your personal data.
3. GDPR & European User Consent
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we comply with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK data protection laws.
For users in these regions, our Apps use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK or equivalent consent management platforms to obtain your consent before serving personalized advertisements or enabling certain data processing. You may be presented with a consent request on first launch, allowing you to accept, reject, or manage your preferences.
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time through the in-app consent options or by adjusting your device advertising settings. You also have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at the email address below.
4. Children's Privacy
Amharworks complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Our Apps do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
We do not condition a child's participation in any activity on providing more personal information than is reasonably necessary. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as quickly as possible.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@amharworks.com.
5. Data Retention and Security
Data collected through third-party SDKs is retained according to the retention policies of those providers. We do not store personal user data on our own servers. Game progress and preferences may be stored locally on your device.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information related to our Apps. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can reset or limit advertising identifiers through your device settings (for example, on Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of our Apps after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
